What is your turnaround time?

*PLEASE NOTE that custom bookings are closed until September**
The majority of my work is custom orders which are placed approximately 8-10 weeks in advance. If you are interested in having me do some custom work for you please be prepared to wait anywhere from 4-8 weeks. This is non-negotiable as everyone ahead of you has already been waiting weeks for their own orders. With that being said, I will always do my best to “under promise and over deliver” so trust that I am working as quickly as possible without compromising the quality of my work.

Are you firm on your prices?

Are you firm on your prices?

Yes. So much yes. My time/materials/products are all priced fairly and firmly.

Will you buy my old furniture?

Will you buy my old furniture?

At this time I am not looking to add anymore items to my inventory (donations included)

How much do you charge?

How much do you charge?

The cost for each piece is listed and is an approximate pricing based on the typical styles and finishes. This cost does not include the knob cost so keep that in mind if your piece has a lot of knobs. We will send additional costs with the finalized contract. There is a chance that the cost could be more if specialty features are needed.

Generally we book approximately 8-10 weeks in advance for custom work, you could also choose the rush fee if you want it sooner than that. Completing a project generally takes 2-3 days per piece. We have a very small number of openings in the schedule for “rush” orders. CANCELLATION: You have 24 hours from time of purchase to cancel your order and receive 100% refund, after that refunds are limited.

Do you deliver?

Do you deliver?

I use a local professional delivery company and can provide quotes upon request.

Do you seal your pieces?

Do you seal your pieces?

Absolutely every item that leaves my shop is sealed with 2-5 coats of high performance top coat.

Do you offer reupholstery services?

Do you offer reupholstery services?

Nothing that requires sewing. I recover dining seat cushions or bench cushions only.

Do you repair broken furniture?

Do you repair broken furniture?

No. Think of my services as cosmetic. Aside from minor things like filling in holes in drawers to place new hardware and sometimes replacing drawer runners/glides I do not repair broken/split/damaged areas in your items and I inspect my own inventory prior to selling to insure there isn’t any structural damage.

What kind of paint do you use?

What kind of paint do you use?

The main brand I use is General Finishes Milk Paints, gel stains and high performance top coats. For artistic and specialty finishes I use various products depending on what look I’m trying to achieve.

Do you strip the furniture prior to painting?

Do you strip the furniture prior to painting?

If I am applying a new stain (table tops ONLY) I do strip the tops. Otherwise I stay away from harsh chemical stripping agents. I do not offer full restoration services meaning if you want the entire piece stripped and stained then I’m not your girl. If you have a look through my pictures you’ll see that I only stain table tops. I sand prior to painting but not to raw wood.
